Girl2Girl Workshops
G2G Workshops take a "wholistic" approach to young womenís sexual & reproductive health. Workshops are geared towards young women of color, ages 12-24. The workshops EDUCATE young women about the facts, as well as how to prevent HIV, STDs and pregnancy, allowing them the freedom to make informed choices about their bodies and lives. The program MOTIVATE and encourage youth to be proactive through confidence building, negotiation and communication skills. With the assistance of our trained Peer Health Educators, participants utilize the tools learned to empower themselves as well as others. Lastly, G2G workshops help to MOBILIZE participants to take an active role in their own health choices.
